I love juicing fresh fruits and vegetables. It’s a great way to get that added infusion of nutrients if you don’t have the time or haven’t been eating enough vegetables.  Juicing simply extracts the juice from fruits and vegetables and spares you the trouble of having to eat and digest the full plant (though it’s worth noting, I recommend eating whole vegetables as much as you can; fiber is good for you). This juice can help cleanse your liver, kidneys, and bladder and keep your body’s vital functions working as they should.

You will need:

  • 2 apples
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1/2 a cucumber
  • 2 cups of romaine lettuce
  • 1 orange

Simply process all the ingredients in your juicer, stir, and drink up! The lettuce helps hydrate the body and is rich in anti-oxidants and vitamin C, which may help prevent cancer of the bladder. Aside from helping cleanse the bladder of nasty junk, it can help relieve asthma and high blood pressure, can help move along digestion, and lower your LDL, or bad cholesterol, too.
